Returns and Refunds

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.


Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.


Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company” (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to World of Cake
  • goods” refers to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders” means a request by You to purchase goods from Us.
  • Service” refers to the Website.
  • Website” refers to World of Cake, accessible from https://www.worldofcake.com.au/
  • You” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.


Your Order Cancellation Rights

The Seller’s Sales Manager or Agent may in his/her absolute discretion agree to accept returns of undamaged goods for credit. Written authorisation from them is necessary before returning the goods for credit.

You must inform us of your decision through a clear statement. You can do so by:

Kindly note that if your order has been processed, there is a possibility that it may not be able to be canceled.


Conditions for Returns

In order for the goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The goods were purchased in the last 14 days
  • The goods are in the original packaging

The following goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.


Returning goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to Us if the errors were made on your behalf.

Goods returned will be subject to a 10% re-stocking charge and will be credited to your account only if received in saleable condition, without the Buyers pricing stickers and goods not faulty or in a damaged condition when delivered to the Buyer.

Claims will not be accepted for short deliveries, damage in transit or faulty merchandise unless notification is received by Seller within fourteen (14) days of delivery to the Buyer’s premises.

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Any claims for damaged goods must refer to the official invoice number and date, and state the reason for the claim.

Once we have received these we will issue you a Credit to your account, a refund or re-send the items out to you depending on what suits you best.

Acceptance of delivery for returned goods for credit does not signify agreement to issue a credit note. A credit note will be issued only after the goods have been inspected and found to be satisfactory in the opinion of the Company.

In the event that a credit note is not issued, the Buyer will be advised and the goods made available for collection by the Buyer.

The following goods cannot be returned for credit under any circumstances:

  • Any goods specially made or purchased for the Buyer.
  • Any goods damaged or altered in any way by the Buyer.
